Candid is a nonprofit organization that connects people with other nonprofits by providing information and evaluation on those nonprofits’ operations. Candid maintains data on where a nonprofit’s money comes from, where it goes and why it matters. Their Seals of Transparency help potential funders and donors understand the difference between a nonprofit organization’s stated mission and goals and what they actually do. Candid has four levels of the Seals of Transparency: Bronze (the basic level) Silver, Gold and Platinum. UCP of Mobile has earned Candid’s “Gold Seal of Transparency” which entails sharing of detailed financial information and information on the leaders and staff.
UCP of Mobile has also earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator.
