Free Inclusion Training for Childcare Providers

Are you a childcare provider in Alabama? CCEP (Childcare Enhancement with a Purpose) is here to support you!

Funded by Alabama DHR, CCEP offers free, hands-on inclusion training to childcare providers statewide. Our program is designed to equip childcare centers and family/group childcare homes with practical strategies for working with and including children with special needs in everyday activities.

What CCEP Offers

  • A multidisciplinary curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices

  • Funding for substitute teachers so staff can attend training at no cost

  • Educational kits to support inclusive learning environments

  • Clock-hour credit approved by the Alabama Department of Human Resources

  • Onsite consultation and technical assistance to guide providers in implementing inclusive strategies

  • Workshops and resources tailored to the needs of childcare professionals
